Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Goter Pay application and services provided by Goter Web Private Limited. By registering or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of India to use Goter Pay. You agree to provide accurate information and to complete KYC where required by law.

2. Services

Goter Pay enables prepaid/postpaid mobile recharge, DTH recharge, utility bill payments (BBPS) and a prepaid wallet for making these payments. Availability of a particular operator or biller may vary and is subject to third-party systems.

3. Wallet

• The Goter Pay wallet is a prepaid balance used to pay for services within the app.
• Money added to the wallet is non-transferable to other users and carries no interest.
• Wallet usage may be subject to monthly limits based on your KYC status.
• You are responsible for all transactions made using your account and MPIN.

4. Transactions

• You are responsible for entering correct details (mobile number, operator, consumer number, amount).
• Transactions depend on operators, billers and payment partners; completion times may vary.
• A transaction may show as pending until confirmed by the operator or biller.
• Recharge to an incorrect but valid number entered by you may not be reversible.

5. Fees & charges

Applicable fees, if any (for example, payment-gateway charges on certain bill payments), are shown before you confirm a transaction. Cashback or commission, where offered, is credited as per the applicable plan.

6. Refunds

Refunds for failed transactions are handled as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

7. Prohibited use

• Using the services for any unlawful, fraudulent or money-laundering activity.
• Using another person’s payment instrument without authorisation.
• Attempting to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the app.

We may suspend or block accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

8. KYC & compliance

You agree to complete identity verification (KYC) as required. We may limit or suspend services where verification is incomplete or where required by regulators.

9. Limitation of liability

Services are provided on a best-effort basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Goter Web Private Limited is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays or failures caused by operators, billers, banks or payment partners. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the transaction amount in question.

10. Termination

You may stop using the services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or for legal or security reasons.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra.
